Thank you for choosing Megsu. We stand behind our brand and the quality of our products. Megsu products are designed, tested, and manufactured to meet quality standards for their normal and intended use. If an issue arises, this policy explains our return procedures and limited warranty coverage.
I. ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Megsu warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the original delivery date, when used under normal residential conditions and in accordance with the product's intended use and assembly instructions.
This limited warranty applies to products purchased new from Megsu or an authorized Megsu retailer, subject to the terms of this policy.
This limited warranty is provided in addition to any rights or remedies available under applicable law. It does not replace or exclude any non-waivable consumer rights.
II. WARRANTY COVERAGE
This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal and intended residential use.
Covered issues may include, but are not limited to:
a) Structural failures resulting from defective materials.
b) Defects caused by improper workmanship.
c) Product failures that prevent the product from functioning as intended under normal use.
Megsu may request photographs, videos, proof of purchase, or other reasonable information to assess a warranty claim.
III. EXCLUSIONS AND NON-COVERED CONDITIONS
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this limited warranty does not cover:
a) Normal wear and tear.
b) Natural variations in wood, including differences in grain, color, texture, and minor checking or cracking consistent with the natural characteristics of wood.
c) Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or use contrary to the product's intended purpose.
d) Damage resulting from improper assembly or failure to follow assembly and care instructions.
e) Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs.
f) Damage resulting from accidents, impacts, fire, flooding, or exposure to environmental conditions beyond those for which the product was designed.
g) Deterioration caused by improper storage, maintenance, or cleaning.
Commercial, rental, or other non-residential use is not covered by this limited warranty unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. These exclusions do not apply where prohibited by applicable law.
IV. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Megsu's responsibility under this limited warranty is limited to an appropriate remedy for the covered defect, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, as applicable.
Megsu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages to the extent such exclusions are permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
V. ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND PROOF OF PURCHASE
This limited warranty is intended for the original purchaser of a new product purchased from Megsu or an authorized Megsu retailer.
Customers may be asked to provide the original order number, sales receipt, invoice, or other reasonable proof of purchase. If the original purchaser is not able to provide the original order details, Megsu may request alternative documentation where appropriate.
Nothing in this section limits any rights that may be available to subsequent owners under applicable law.
